Linen is all the rage, and as a long developed vegetable fibre, people who love linen, LOVE LINEN! But what is it like to work with as a knitter or crocheter? Well we think it's just fabulous, and that you will too! During this workshop we will discuss the process of how linen is made, and what unique attributes it holds for knitters and crocheters to create garments out of it, as well as how to care for it long term. We will be working on a knit or crochet tank top, and testing out the linen while creating our gauge swatch for the project. We will test block our swatches so that you can see how linen changes from the ball, to the finished garment, post washing. We have so many colours of linen available to choose from on the day of the class- there will be something for everyone! Each participant will receive 4 balls of linen for their tank top- either all in one colour, or in a variety of colours- whatever you choose!

No former garment making experience is required! Please bring the above mentioned knitting needles or crochet hooks with you in order to be able to adjust your size, if needed, based on your gauge swatch.
