LYS Day 2024!

LYS DAY 2024 AT STIX AND STONES!

    We LOVE LYS Day here at Stix and Stones, and we are so excited to share the day with all you amazing stitchers out there! Local Yarn Store day is a day to celebrate your local yarn shop (LYS). Share their shop/posts on your social media, write a nice review on google, stop in to visit or shop, just show them some general love and appreciation for the hard work they do to keep our favourite crafts alive and our stashes fed!

    The past few years we have done some fun events for LYS day, and this year will be no different! Since you're all on The Stitch List, you get first dibs on what is happening! Some things are in store only, and some will be for online as well!

    SALE YARN BAGS!

      

    (In store only) We will be bagging up and discounting a variety of different yarns that have been discontinued OR are old dye lots that we can't match anymore. Yarns will be organized by weight and will be priced as marked. Additional discounts will not apply to sale yarns. Video shopping appointments can be made between 8am and 4pm if you are out of town and would like to take part in the sales. We cannot prioritize posting all the bagged sales on the website, but would still love to include out of towners! 

    This is your chance to get some amazing deals on some of your favourite yarns! Sale yarns will be setup around our studio table (same as last year) and are the last of the stock for that product. PLEASE BUY ENOUGH FOR YOUR PROJECT as they won't necessarily be yarns that we can order more of! Based on how busy it was last year, we also will not be able to offer winding services, or pattern help/support on LYS day.

    In addition to our sale yarns, we will have some accessories, books, notions and project bags on clearance as well!

    Please note ALL sale items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned, or exchanged. Sale bags are sold AS IS and cannot be broken up for individual sale, but bags are allowed to be opened to touch and feel the yarn- we know how important that is!

    • All yarns on sale 25% off from 8am to 9:59am only, IN STORE AND ONLINE (automatically calculated at checkout & excludes sale bags)
    • All yarns on sale 15% off from 10am - 11:59pm (automatically calculated at checkout & excludes sale bags)
    • Every purchase will receive a variety of discount codes for FREE PATTERN DOWNLOADS from companies including; Casapinka, Malabrigo, Berroco and Estelle (limit one code pack per person)
    • Online orders will receive FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING with orders of $250 before taxes
